Methodology and Tools

In conducting the consultancy, we use an agile approach: information is collected in an iterative process and, if needed, refined further in sub-areas and questions. For detailed understanding, this approach is linked with methods of Collaborative Modelling, where processes are analyzed (AS-IS) or redesigned (TO-BE) in close collaboration with experts/users.

Typical processes in the consultancy project

During discourse, suitable contacts and teams are assembled in a topic-specific manner (focus groups) to address particular questions and topics that arise during the consultancy. Plans are made together, deep-dive topics are defined, workshops and joint sessions are planned and organized.

  • Protocols are created for all workshops and sessions, and the results are documented in writing
  • Requirements are managed in a requirements management system
  • Reports are produced for all completed work packages
  • Review process: documents are presented to the participants and the steering committee to obtain feedback
